Our Classes

Baby Class

Age: 1-2 years old. Class ratio: 4:1
This age group will be taught in a small class to allow for more attentive care. They will enjoy stimulating baby-themed activities that are aimed at the specific developmental milestones to be achieved at this age. Because this age group is constantly on the move, we provide a safe (and fun!) environment for them to explore. Everything in our baby classroom is designed for little explorers and we encourage this through learning and discovering new things every day.

Toddler Class

Age: 2-3 years. Class ratio: 8:1
This age group enjoys a stimulating and fun daily activity program designed around their limitless curiosity. We will constantly be encouraging their natural desire to explore through a range of fun activities that will include arts and crafts, music and movement, indoor fantasy play, outdoor gross motor play and other sensory activities.
This class will be kept to a minimum so that both teachers and teaching assistants will be able to look after your toddler’s every need. Our supportive environment will help develop your child’s sense of self, independence, and knowledge of the world around them.

Preschool Class

Age: 3-4 years. Class ratio: 8:1
The nurturing learning environment that we provide will be filled with investigation, exploration, and discovery. Active and excited children will be taught to refine and expand their skill sets and knowledge while learning to socially interact with their peers through play. Our curriculum provides a balance between free play, social interaction and active learning whilst focusing on the intellectual, physical and emotional development of your child.

Grade RR Class

Age: 4-5 years. Class ratio: 8:1
This is an age where children begin to develop a sense of self-control and creativity. The school will provide a learning environment inside and outside the classroom that will nurture and support this development. Classroom activities will be focused around social development and inspiring their imaginations while the outside activities will teach them gross motor skills like running, hopping, ball skills, climbing and swinging.

Grade R Class

Age: 5- 6 years. Class ratio: 8:1
Gr R teaching will be based on the ECD provided CAPS curriculum that prepares them for Gr 1. The following will be included in the curriculum: Perceptual Development, Language development, Fine Motor Control and Gross Motor Control. The outside playground will also provide a learning environment where they are encouraged to develop fine motor control and gross motor control. We will teach them to have self-confidence for their social development and emotional development.
